Jaye Jones is a multidisciplinary artist based in Colorado, working fluidly across painting, illustration, fabric, photography, and found objects. Her practice is rooted in storytelling, especially the ones that slip through the cracks: forgotten fragments, imagined folklore, and the surreal ways memory reshapes itself over time.
With a background in Fine Arts Studio from RIT and a restless curiosity, Jaye’s work often blurs boundaries; between mediums, meaning, and memory. A single piece might combine oil paint, digital layers, and stitched remnants gathered from elsewhere. Every work begins with a question, though rarely ends with a clear answer.
She’s currently exploring how narratives evolve through animation, zines, and quiet experiments in video. Her studio travels with her, from the edge of a forest to the back of a bookstore, always accompanied by her three pup assistants.
Jaye invites viewers to wander, wonder, and maybe recognize something familiar in the strange.
